Too funny.
I got an email from Smiling Cory this morning.
"We need to hear from Coloradans like you: Are you planning to vote to protect the Senate Republican Majority in 2020?
TAKE 2020 POLL NOW
The Official 2020 Poll is ready for you to record your response."

Perfect metaphor for Gardner. He wants to hear from you. He really does but there is no mechanism to do it. Lots of hot air and not substance.
Cory’s incompetent staff has saved us all from some of his worst excesses. From misspellings to broken links, they never fail to…fail.
dunning kruger effect
Concentration, internment, detention camps… let’s compare and contrast, shall we?
The Washington Post has a thoughtful piece that puts The border camps in historical context. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2019/06/19/never-again-means-nothing-if-holocaust-analogies-are-always-off-limits/?fbclid=IwAR1Z1Oo-Nq5tl_iqLdUSmhJUDEt59G5OWrxYXlXIo3nuYIjPmTyrvxMHDDE&noredirect=on&utm_term=.5d60b0e7d813
Amy Gillentine of the Independent critiques the Gazette’s fearmongering on drugs and electoral votes.

Thanks MJ, the Indy critique is right on the money. Would love to see a good media analysis think-piece about Wayne and his history as the CSG's editorial page editor.
I think Wayne has set the record for the longest case of foaming-at-the-mouth disease ever since he was bitten as a child by his pet skunk.
Ordinarily I'd check the Guinness Book or something, but in this case I'll just trust you!
Longmont Pride was fun. An IWW print shop had a booth, there were some druids, I stopped by the Planned Parenthood booth, got a trans flag, had some ice cream, and overall had a good time.
Yay! "There were some druids"
What does a trans flag look like?
I should say that I have nothing at all against druids, being a neo-pagan religious mutt myself. I know just enough about druidry to be dangerous. But your phrasing was funny – “there was an IWW print shop, and ice cream, and Planned Parenthood, and there were some druids.” Longmont must be getting more Boulderish by the day. More power to them.
The IWW print shop runs out of Denver (I talked with them some) and seemed super cool.
And Pseud posted the trans flag. The blues represent trans men, the pinks trans women, and the white non-binary people, like myself. I got it for free at one of the booths. I considered buying a genderqueer flag at the OUT Boulder booth, but money is tight, so I ended up not doing so.
They are.
Ice cream or flag? I like your choice.
IWW print shop?
Longmont?
ok
what'd they have?
They had some shirts, some bumper stickers, some pins, and a book of IWW songs. My roommate bought me one of the shirts (for half price because it was partially faded) and a bumper sticker.
thanks for reminding me about them.
Np.
It's not like he's going to be president or anything.
I was just approached by one of the electoral college groupies outside King Soopers.
