Former Aurora City Council member Ryan Frazier is a funny guy sometimes, though not necessarily on purpose.
From John Frank at the Denver Post:
Ryan Frazier says he is the early front-runner in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in Colorado, a wide-open contest to challenge Democrat Michael Bennet.
The former TV political analyst and Aurora councilman released an internal pollWednesday that showed him with 18 percent support among likely Republican primary voters, well ahead of the other four candidates tested.
A little further down in the story, Frank notes that this was a robo-poll, which automatically dials only landline phone numbers. Frazier might as well have just asked 10 people on the 16th Street Mall about the Republican Senate race.
On the plus side, 18 percent is less than the combined margin that Frazier lost his last two campaigns (in CD-7 and for Aurora Mayor). So, there’s that.
