The Colorado Secretary of State’s office released updated ballot return numbers for the Nov. 2, 2021 election today. You can see the full report HERE.
With one week to go until Election Day, less than a half-million Coloradans have already cast their ballot. As you can see from the chart below, this is a slower rate of return than in previous odd-year elections:

Among the more interesting pieces of information in today’s report is that voters in Denver don’t appear to be all that enthusiastic about voting in 2021. Denver County and Jefferson County often go back and forth in terms of total number of active voters in Colorado; right now Denver voters are returning ballots in numbers well below Jeffco, El Paso, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Larimer Counties.
