Lying, Thug Cops cost Denver taxpayers $795,000!!

On Monday night, the city council unanimously approved the settlement, one of city’s largest payouts in a police brutality case.

I’m glad to see financial justice done.  Now explain to me why these cops are not in jail for assault?  Wouldn’t you or I be charged for attempted murder if we did that to another citizen?
