Michael Bennet is a Class Act

In response to last week’s Romanoff campaign video implying that Senator Bennet may be bought because he, like all the other Senate candidates in the country, accepts money from PACs, Michael Bennet “retaliated” on Saturday at the Arapahoe County Democratic Party Central Committee meeting by saying this (paraphrasing):

Andrew Romanoff is a good man. He served the State of CO well as Speaker of the House. I have nothing bad to say about him. I would like to keep my job because I believe I have a strong record and there are many things I want to continue to fight for, on behalf of the people of Colorado.

Senator Bennet went on to take questions from the audience, saying, “I am going to take questions first from the people wearing Romanoff stickers”. He answered about five or six questions before he was out of time, when he thanked the audience and left.

Positively scandalous!
