Where are they now, CD-05 edition.

(talk about self-promotion. – promoted by Barron X)

In the CD-05 race a year ago, two of the candidates on the ballot were determined to get that pointless Iraq War ended as quickly as possible.  Of course, those were the two losers, the Democrat and the Constitution Party candidates.  The Republican incumbent who won said he wanted to stay the course in Iraq.  The Constitution Party guy has not been heard from since, but the Dem – he is out there making history.

Hal Bidlack, after devoting a career to our national defense, took a year out to run for Congress because he wanted to help the nation get back on course.   OK, he lost that race.  But he didn’t stop wanting to contribute all he could.

But what has he been up to lately ?  From page A1 of the New York edition for 4 November of the New York Times:

https://www.nytimes.com/2009/11…

He is pitching in, doing some of the plodding grunt work to make Iraq safe again for Iraqis.

Props, Hal.
