POLS UPDATE: The Democratic Bill Owens was elected on Tuesday.
So, The Today Show this morning was doing a piece on the race in NY 23rd and on a graphic, they showed a photo of former Colorado Gov. Bill Owens (R-Colorado) instead of the Bill Owens who’s the Dem candidate for the office.
Oops.
The Colorado Bill Owens was shaving and before he finished, he had 3 e-mails and text messages from friends mocking him.
He told me this morning, “Why the hell would I want to be a congressman from upstate New York when I’ve been governor of Colorado?”
