As part of ProgressNow Colorado’s voter outreach and education program for the upcoming 2018 elections, the state’s largest online progressive advocacy organization released a new extension for the Google Chrome browser: Mitt Romney’s Nephew v1.0. Upon installation of the extension in Chrome, all instances of the name “Doug Robinson” viewed through the browser are automatically rewritten to display the words “Mitt Romney’s Nephew.”
“With so many unknown candidates in the Republican gubernatorial race, voters need a simple way to cut through the noise,” said ProgressNow Colorado executive director Ian Silverii. “The Mitt Romney’s Nephew extension makes sure voters know who one Colorado gubernatorial candidate really is, no matter where they get their news.”
“ProgressNow Colorado is committed to educating voters about their choices in 2018,” said Silverii. “Stay tuned for our next project, the George Bush’s Cousin extension, which is ready to roll out as circumstances warrant.”
