Anyone following the death penalty debate clearly understands how out of touch and irrelevant ProgressNow is. Trying to pounce on Gardner and Penry is not much more than a compliment to both of them. You all SHOULD be quaking in your collective Chacos about their chances next year.
As far as I can tell the only thing PN has weighed in on this year that was successful was Ken Buck’s successful hate crime prosecution.
Has done as much or more to turn this state blue than anybody else. Even your buddy Fred Barnes concedes they have been jacking the local GOP for years. No results? Ask Bob Beauprez or Bob Schaffer how they feel.
Seems like the failed Holtzman campaign came up with all of the ammo to use against Beauprez and all PN did was ride their coattails…
just up the amount he pays you guys each month, instead of laundering it through Progress Now? Would cut down on the paperwork, it would seem.
