Musician J. Geils passed away about a week ago. J. Geils Band was one of the better ones from early 1970s into the 1980s. One of their hits was "Love Stinks."

The first two studio and the first live albums are stellar. The pop-inflected albums that gave them their Top 40 hits–not so much.
This past week had a definite Marie Antoinette feel: Drumpf eating his most beautiful chocolate cake, demands that he get a ride in the gold chariot with the Queen for his upcoming state visit to Great Britain. Then Donnie, Jr. bragging about his free ride on AFO.
Marie's tenure as Queen of the French lasted 341 days. Any over/under on whether Cheetolini lasts that long? (which is the day after Christmas, 2017)

Well, Daddy Warbucks is supporting the mission to Mars. Makes sense. With the phuchead plundering EPA and NIH, his billionaire buddies are going to have to have someplace to go when this ecosystem collapses and we're chased out by Biblical proportions of locusts and chicken influenza.

But the big drop in the number of those who believe he will keep his promises is a blessing in disguise. Many of us hope and pray that he will not keep most of his promises.
That's a good way of looking at it. As much as it must chap ACHole's hide, the constant protests highlighting all of Trump's (and by extension Republican) failings is definitely having an effect.
We'll see how close we get to flipping Price's (and formerly Newt's) Georgia congressional seat tomorrow!

Yep, Trump's Fine Tooned Machine is firing on about 2 and a half cylinders. Between the divisions and rivalries in the White House plus the warring factions in the House, with any luck nothing will happen in the next 2 to 4 years that we must suffer these fools.
How ACHole can put up with this much humiliation and embarrassment from his team is a mystery to me.
