      1. Dear Mr/Ms Pear

From your post, it looks like even you can't think of anything to praise him for. Thank you for that moment of refreshing honesty.

        Peace

  1. Not Obama

Politico has an interesting take on the Syria missile strike, from Obama administration types:

Many of the most head-snapping comments I heard came from Obama’s own top advisers, who had long pushed him to confront Assad more aggressively and viewed his 2013 refusal to take military action against Syria after drawing a “red line” on chemical weapons use as a major American foreign policy debacle. There’s no love lost for Trump in this group, whose members found themselves in the uncomfortable position of cheering a leader they still both loathe and fear.

“Our administration never would have gotten this done in 48 hours,” one former senior official of the Obama administration told me. “It’s a complete indictment of Obama.”

“I feel like finally we have done the right thing,” Anne-Marie Slaughter, who served as Obama’s first-term chief of policy planning at the State Department and long publicly urged a more forceful response to Assad’s horrific attacks on civilians during the six years of war that have wracked Syria, told me. “The years of hypocrisy just hurt us all. It undermined the U.S., it undermined the world order.”

    1. Doesn't it bother you that Richard Spencer and the right wing nationalists in your party are criticizing your leader while Dems are commending him?

      1. Why would that bother me?

I don't know who Richard Spencer is and while we may or may not share some ideas, like most people we probably don't share some others.

I believe there are many rational Dems.

Some read Pols and used to contribute but have been turned off by the name calling and personal insults.

It would be better for Pols if they returned.

    1. Certainly Goebbels boy has a strong odor about him.   If only he could get Trump to bathe before Carnholio kisses his ass, the odor problem might be managable.  But when your name is Carnholio, I guess your destiny is clear..

      Pax vobiscum

  2. Fort Collins voters – turn your ballot in. It's too late to mail it. You're voting for mayor, city council, and a couple of city charter rules.

To date, only 15% of eligible voter's ballots have been returned. Don't miss a chance to make your city a better place.

        1. I disagree David, ACHole works very hard to deserve the crap we give him because that is what he does for a living.

Afterall, he puts a professional sheen on the Trump Turds he is constantly polishing.

We all have a calling, and that is the one he has chosen.

  3. When Rex Tillerson gets to Moscow this week, do you think Putin is going to ask him to give back his Order of Lenin medal in light of the missile strike in Syria?

  4. Trump's worst week yet – Palmer report

4 things that make it Trump's worst week yet, even though media giddily hails him as now "Presidential" for bombing Syrian runways.

    1. Devin Nunes can no longer run interference on Russia – Trump investigation, as he has lost all credibility.

    2. Acting AG Dana Boente at DoJ has signalled that he is not a Trump loyalist.

    3. The Jared Kushner / Steve Bannon conflict has blown up and Bannon is now out of the NSC briefings (yay!) but Jared's in ? (only if he can get around requirement to disclose his extensive contacts with Russian officials)

    4. The Syrian airstrike has been revealed as a fraud; it only took out planes and fueling stations, which are readily replaced. The airstrips were not targeted, and were in use the next day. So if this was an elaborate double feint to show Trump as "Presidential" and "Willing to take on Putin", it is a big F A I L.
