  1. The Original Lie About Obamacare

Tom Cotton, the Republican senator from Arkansas, has said the bill is so bad that it would “put the House majority at risk next year.” On the other hand, if Republicans fail to pass their own bill, they’ll look weak and incompetent, which is also not a good look to voters.

“It was the ultimate troll,” as Michael Anne Kyle of Harvard Business School put it, “for Obama to pass Republican health reform.”

Their approach to Obamacare has worked quite nicely for them, until now. Lying can be an effective political tactic. Believing your own alternative facts, however, is usually not so smart.

  2. If you're wondering how the AHCA might treat you differently, Kaiser has put something together so you can see what your subsidy would be under both the ACA and AHCA.  Of course that doesn't take into account what plans might be offered under a new regime, or at what cost, but it's a quick first look.

  3. Can't make this shit up….

Log Cabin Republicans still support Donald Trump, still think he's pro-LGBTQ. Says LCR President Gregory Angelo,

“Yes, I don’t think that this one decision on transgender guidance changes that,” he explained. “We have never had a Republican president who so candidly and openly discussed not only gay, not only lesbian, not only bisexual but transgender Americans as well.”

As further "proof", but only for those of iron intestinal fortitude, check out this old video of younger Drumpf "motorboating" Rudy Giuliani in drag:
