Anything but a cartoon from AC.
Anything but a cartoon from AC.
how about a solution to who will pay for The Wall?
It won't be Mexico, says former prez to that Pendejo Trump.
Trump and his Republican chumps have admitted Trump's lie by their actions. Not sure A/C has admitted the lie to himself yet.
Who should really pay for it? The mostly Republican business owners who have profited over many years by hiring illegals, stealing their wages and SS contributions, and who failed to use basic tools to hire their employees.
I'm kind tired today, AC. Instead of our usual exchange, let's just stipulate we each traded 10 posts of increasing vitriol until I finally drove you from the contest with an obscure reference to Macedonian light infantry tactics at the battle of Arbela which you insisted had nothing whatever to do with the point at issue but satisfied my honor as a former West Point staffer.
I am tired of it as well, so stipulated.
Don't fall for this, V. AC renegotiating his pay after the successful Koch/Putin/Trump operation.
You know what they say: Once a traitor, always a traitor.
Zapp:
News flash. Koch and Trump are not best of buddies.
A couple weeks ago Trump kicked one of the brothers off one of his golf courses.
Good for the two of you. You'll both probably be more productive with you future posts. After all this is an entertainment venue rather than serious discussion of policy and issues.
"Macedonian light infantry tactics at the battle of Arbela……." How did those work in relationship to the action of the main body of the Macedonian phalanx?
The phalanx was virtually invulnerable but hard to maneuver and tended to break up over rough ground. Hypapists weren't truly light infantry in that they often carried the big hoplite shield but were trained to maneuver. They guarded the flanks of the phalanx and often filled in between phalanx and cavalry. At Arbela, Alexander used his small, 300 member, companion cavalry as the arm of decision, charging Darius. The king. no warrior, fled the battlefield and as usually happened in an ancient battle, the king fleeing triggered a rout by the Persian Army. Overall, the hardest thing about serving an ancient Greek army was pronouncing "hypapist."
+1
MJ, still having acceptance problems?
Let me help you. You lost. Not only did you lose, you got your ass kicked.
Gardner is taking a call from MJ and based upon her calling fellow Senator Sessions a racist he is going to vote against him?
Senator Thurston Howell III, now there's a guy who is going to rock the vote and be against Tillerson?
It is over. You lost. Get used to it.
From thousands of constituents, who know when he's up for re-election (2020)…constituents who will show up at his office and come to his town halls and have press conferences and maybe even initiate a recall petition (Colorado lets you do that against a state-wide elected official)….yes, I think he might care.
Your fellow GOOPers turned around quick enough when they got overloaded with calls and emails last Monday on the Ethics rules change. They pretended it was all about the Trump tweet, but it was not.
The most appropriate thread ever to be offered on this site.
Starting with your screen name I say you model it well. (You may well be pear-shaped, but I think you get what I mean).
Cold up here on Tater Heap this morning! Clearly the climate changed again since June!
for Donald Trump and Andrew Carnegie – a Pro-Putin hat and for the Pro-Russian factions within Fox News.
Democrats should be ready to start impeachment proceedings on Day 1 of this Crook’s administration.
Zap:
You may have missed it, but the Dems don't have enough votes to do anything in either chamber. Some say that has something to do with the last 8 years of Obama, but I digress.
True, but some Republicans have spines, and aren't willing to let Putin's Beeyotch take the whole GOP down with them.
Do you mean take them down to the historically down level of the current Dems? That would be scary.
Trump will likely piss off some Republicans along the way, but it will more likely be for doing things that the Dems want rather than doing something deserving of impeachment like turning the Oval office into the Oral office.
Given that Rep. Rob Bishop (R-UT), chair of the House Natural Resources Committee, has already begun the process of trying to turn over public lands in the West to the states and private interests, Trump may be an ally for those working against that process.
Wow, a Lewinsky "joke". Do you go to bed earlier, now that Jay Leno is gone?
I suppose Bill is still fair game, although I'm reminded of that line about glass houses, or in this case, people who support guys who live in cheap 10K gold plated houses who brag about pussy grabbin' and want to bang their own daughters…maybe shouldn't throw stones.
So ACHole, are you still celebrating the time when Republican Philanderers with multiple trophy wives impeached Clinton for getting a blow job?
Republican priorities and tactics never change — Cowardice, hypocrisy and phony promises they never intend to keep:
I know it's lost on your simplistic, Pro-Putin world view, but I'm still kinda trying to get Michael Bennet, the Most Revered Democrat in these parts (heh) to grow a pair (heh-heh).

Update: all of these voice mail boxes are full. Good job! But call again Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Republicans are trying to overwhelm constituents and the press by rushing through Trumps cabinet picks (5 hearings in 3 days without any vetting or ethics screenings): Racist anti-cannabist Jeff Sessions, Exxon CEO and Putin Pal Rex Tillerson, and anti- public education Betsy Devos. They all have conflicts of interest.

Poster girl for hysterical Democrats.
The Pompous Putz weighs in with his sexist schtick. So predictable.
It is no wonder men are leaving the Democratic Party. White, back, red yellow, brown and multicolor. Elizabeth Warren is the characterization of the ex-wife, angry, unhappy, unfulfilled, and loud. My gosh there are many other Democratic women to choose from. Chose one of those to promote your anti Trump agenda. Warren is not what the low information voter wants. Just trying to help.
You assessment of her definitely proves that she's not what a low-information voter wants. I would trust no other opinion of what a low-information voter wants more than I trust yours.
PP speaks from experience : I'm sure his ex-wife was angry, unhappy, and unfulfilled. No doubt, the poor woman is much happier now. Can I get a loud AMEN!
And your "just trying to help" is so precious. Look up "concern trolling" sometime.
Oh, and it's a pro-democracy agenda…keeping in place the historical norms and rules of the Senate and the Presidency. McConnell himself begged Obama to "slow things down" in 08 and '12 – so that ethics checks and vetting could be done properly. Why would Trump get a pass on that?
I'd imagine old PP is an expert on unfulfilled women. Like, he's never known one who wasn't unfulfilled. I wonder what the common issue might be….
Ok, ok, here is a better choice for Democrats.
Huh. Senator Claire McKaskill, whom you think is a "better choice for Democrats", “goes off” on Donald Trump's disparaging remarks about the Intelligence professionals:
Those darn uppity women. They’re everywhere.
What happened to Michael Blowman? Haven't seen him post unless the turned into Cro-Magmon.
Clair is more of a Hillary clone. Not as Kookie as Liz.
Is there a woman who doesn't scare you, besides cookie-cutter FOX blondes and brainwashed Trumpettes?
