A release from Colorado House Republicans brings sobering news, our thoughts are with former Republican state representative and state senate candidate Ken Summers' family today:
DENVER—Former state Rep. Ken Summers, R-Lakewood, was hospitalized today in Loveland, Colo. He is being treated for encephalitis and remains in critical condition. House Minority Leader Brian DelGrosso, R-Loveland, released the following statement today on behalf of the House Republican Caucus—
“We are all praying for Ken and his family, and we are keeping him in our hearts and minds. Ken was an excellent legislator and has never stopped serving his community. As a pastor and through his work at Teen Challenge of the Rocky Mountains, he has touched the lives of countless individuals.
“We send him and his family our love and prayers for a speedy recovery.”
