"The most costly of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true."

Another "Hick is a flaming lib" story that completely ignores fracking…

Yep, when I read that article I almost spit up my coffee. Lynn Bartels ticked off all the GOP talking points as if they were in the majority of public opinion (far from it).
Yep, Hick might have lost the RMGO vote. So he can write off that 0.001% of the vote next year.
As Craig Hughes implied with his "irrational exuberance" remark, if the GOP wants to run on the gun vote, be our guest!
…as if I need a daily reminder why I left the clown car. My disgust for Congressman Steve King only grows stronger with each passing day.
Remember when that kind of overt racism was considered unacceptable in a public servant?
I can remember when it was considered unacceptable in a bar full of morning drunks.

Fascinating series of articles on Life in the Boy's Dorm – Sun Microsystems.
Here's a must read article from the New York Times http://nymag.com/news/features/republican-congress-2013-7/
Anarchists of the House
The Republican Congress is testing a new frontier of radicalism—governmental sabotage
New York Magazine ain't the New York Times magazine by a long shot.
How rich quoting Menken.
How about keeping H.L. in context.
I believe that all government is evil, and that trying to improve it is largely a waste of time.
H. L. Mencken
Ooh – comparative Mencken…
Looks like the Guvs have your quote beat. He only "believes" your quote – he states the Guvs quote as fact.
(Yes, this comparison is childish – so is your own response…)
