Mark Udall Hires Veteran Strategist, Clear Creek County Resident Adam Dunstone to Manage U.S. Senate Reelection Campaign
Denver, CO – U.S. Sen. Mark Udall released the following statement officially announcing the hiring of Adam Dunstone, a veteran strategist and Colorado resident, to manage his 2014 reelection campaign:
"I'm thrilled that Adam Dunstone has come aboard as my reelection Campaign Manager. It's always a priority to surround myself with a top-notch team, and Adam has the skills and the strategic know-how to guide my campaign to victory in 2014," Udall said. "Adam is ready to take my grassroots re-election campaign to the next level. I look forward to working with him as I travel the state and discuss my accomplishments and vision for strengthening the middle class, creating jobs and bringing Colorado common sense to Washington."
"It's an honor for me to work for Senator Udall. I share the senator's vision for Colorado, which is centered on protecting our state's quality of life and looking out for middle-class Coloradans and small businesses," Dunstone said. "Senator Udall represents mainstream Colorado values and has distinguished himself as an independent-minded legislator who bridges the political divide. After promising during his 2008 Senate race that he'd work for Colorado priorities, Senator Udall has delivered on that promise. In his first term, he has fought tirelessly for the middle class, whether it was by passing a law to help create Colorado jobs, leading the fight for resources to fight wildfires, looking out for our military families and veterans, or standing up for our constitutional privacy rights."
Adam Dunstone is currently a Senior Associate at Colorado-based RBI Strategies and Research. He is an experienced campaign professional who has worked on candidate and issue campaigns at the national, state, and local levels.
His broad Colorado campaign experience includes working as Campaign Coordinator for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, as Campaign Manager for Chris Romer's Denver mayoral campaign, and as Deputy Campaign Manager for Angie Paccione's bid for the 4th Congressional District. He also served as the Iowa Field Director for Joe Biden in 2008, and worked for a national advertising firm doing communications and paid media on races in every region of the country.
Adam grew up in Michigan and holds a degree in Public Administration and Public Policy with a concentration in Economics and History from Michigan State University. In addition to politics, he also is experienced in residential construction. Both of Adam's parents are retired public school teachers. Adam lives in Evergreen with his wife and two dogs.
