2 Men, 1 Brain - Newest Jeffco School Board candidates show their puppet strings

Today I got my emailed version of the Columbine Courier in which Emile Hallez (I think Emile IS the Columbine Courier, but he does a good job anyway) interviews Jim Powers and Preston Branaugh about why they are running for positions on the Jeffco School Board.

Emile should’ve just done one interview and saved himself some time! If either one of them had said ANYTHING original, I might take them seriously, but no. They used the exact same talking points, the exact same examples and they have the exact same solutions. Even their websites are almost exactly the same!

How can they chastise the Jeffco School Board for a lack of transparency with a straight face when their decisions to run were made in some private meeting with GOP activists?

Read the articles here and here. I forget which link goes to which candidate, but it’s not like it matters.

These posts are elected from a COUNTY WIDE vote, so please pay attention! Please attend at least one of the candidate forums below and check out the Jeffco Schools website for more info on the election: http://www.jeffcopublicschools.org/board/election.html
