UPDATE #2: FOX 31's Eli Stokols:
Obama is scheduled to visit Wednesday with local law enforcement and community leaders to discuss the state’s new gun control laws. The president has recently been pushing Congress to take up the issue in the wake of Newtown, Conn., and other mass shootings, including that at the Aurora Century movie theater.
“We need everybody to remember how we felt 100 days ago and make sure what we said wasn’t just a bunch of platitudes, that we meant it,” Obama said Thursday at a White House event on a national day of action by supporters of tougher gun laws.

UPDATE: Politico:
President Obama will continue his push for gun-control measures during a visit next Wednesday to Denver, where the White House hopes to spotlight new state gun laws…
During the visit, Obama will "continue to ask the American people to join him in calling on Congress to pass common-sense measures to reduce gun violence," deputy press secretary Josh Earnest said.
"He’ll meet with local law enforcement officials and community leaders to discuss the new measures the state has recently put in place, including closing loopholes in the background-check system to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and others who should not have access to them."
