Of Course Donald Trump is in the Epstein Files

  •

Donald Trump, Melania Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell

You don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to have concluded after the last few weeks that the name “Donald J. Trump” absolutely appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files — you know, the files that Attorney General Pam Bondi and the rest of the Trump administration have suddenly been claiming don’t even exist.

It didn’t require any special deductive reasoning to make this same educated guess after President Trump trashed MAGA supporters who are justifiably incensed at the obvious cover up happening right before their eyes. It was equally hard to ignore the obvious truth after Trump demanded that House Speaker Mike Johnson call an early recess for Congress so that Democrats couldn’t force Republicans to vote on releasing the [cough, cough] “nonexistent” Epstein files….or after Trump sued the Wall Street Journal for publishing a vile “Happy Birthday” letter that Trump sent to Epstein in 2003 that seems to acknowledge their shared interest in underage girls.

But if you were still on the fence about Trump’s involvement with the world’s most notorious pedophile, the Wall Street Journal spelled it out for you in a bombshell story today:

When Justice Department officials reviewed what Attorney General Pam Bondi called a “truckload” of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that Donald Trump’s name appeared multiple times, according to senior administration officials…[Pols emphasis]

…In a statement to the Journal on Friday, Bondi and the deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche, said nothing in the files warranted further investigation or prosecution. “As part of our routine briefing, we made the President aware of the findings,” they said.

On Tuesday, Blanche said on X that the Justice Department was seeking to arrange a meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell in the coming days to discuss any possible information about anyone who has committed crimes with Epstein.

Donald Trump, left, and President-in-waiting JD Vance

And that’s the ballgame, folks.

It was always clear that Trump had to appear in the Epstein files for him to be SO concerned about their release. Trump cares only about Trump, so he would have had no issue with releasing the Epstein files if his name was not floating around in the documents.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung responded to today’s story with the usual nonsense — “This is another fake news story, just like the previous story by The Wall Street Journal” — but it’s fair to assume that the Journal would not have published such a bombshell story without solid sourcing just days after being sued for a gazillion dollars by Trump.

As the Journal continues:

FBI Director Kash Patel has privately told other government officials that Trump’s name appeared in the files, according to people close to the administration.

Patel declined to answer an inquiry from the Journal about the Epstein case, but said in a statement that the memo on the Justice Department website explaining why the department wouldn’t release more Epstein documents was “consistent with the thorough review conducted by the FBI and DOJ.”

Details of Bondi’s meeting with Trump haven’t been previously reported. [Pols emphasis] Trump’s advisers had for months, including during the presidential campaign, said they would release the files, and Trump, while at times equivocal, indicated he would support the release.

Trump’s supporters, including some now serving in senior roles in the administration, claimed that the documents would expose global elites and powerful Democrats who spent time with the disgraced financier.

The decision to not release the files has triggered the most serious backlash from Trump’s political base since he launched his bid for the White House a decade ago, with a vocal group of the president’s allies seeing the move as a massive betrayal.

Trump has told administration officials in recent weeks that he wanted the growing public attention on Epstein to go away. [Pols emphasis]

No surprise there.

It’s impossible now to refute — at least entirely — the story that thousands of FBI agents were tasked with searching for Trump’s names in the Epstein files (that don’t exist). It’s no longer possible to just sweep this story under the rug in general.

The extent of Trump’s involvement with Epstein’s disgusting behavior is still to be determined, but there’s no question that Trump has a lot of explaining to do if he hopes to try to climb out of this self-made hole.

The Deep State has been located. Its leader works inside an oval-shaped office.
