    1. Yup, spending that depends on long term planning is going in the dumpster due to the erratic whims of Trump.

      While Elon Musk with a personal net worth north of $300 billion won't miss a meal anytime soon, he may be getting a little worried.  I got this email today:

      Under normal circumstances (ie. Kamala in the White House, economy humming along), I'd be tempted.  But I'm afraid with the recent catastrophic depreciation on my 2020 Model Y, the $2,000 hardly begins to cover the price of Elon's treachery.  My car is doing fine, so I'm going to keep my Rivian R2 reservation and see what next year looks like (as in has my 401(k) recovered enough to even think about a new car?).
