        1. Ann Coulter has – at least in the past – suggested repealing the 19th Amendment because it would guarantee only Republicans would be elected president.

  1. Another election official just CERTAIN there were flaws in the system — FAFO

A former Milwaukee election official is fined $3,000 for obtaining fake absentee ballots

Prosecutors charged Zapata in November 2022 with one felony count of misconduct in public office and three misdemeanor counts of election fraud. A jury in March found her guilty on all four counts…..

Zapata served as deputy director at the Milwaukee Election Commission in October 2022 when she used her work-issued laptop to obtain three military absentee ballots using fake names and Social Security numbers, according to a criminal complaint. She sent the ballots to Republican state Rep. Janel Brandtjen, an election conspiracy theorist, two weeks before the state’s gubernatorial and legislative elections.

Willful violation of computer security access.  She demonstrated precisely that people working elections have access to abuse the system.  Felony conviction and $3,000 (and some "community service").

I get a sense there MAY be two tiers of sentencing in some of the American justice systems.

  2. Is there a more sniveling, cowardly, sycophant than South Carolina senator Tim Scott? His interview with Kristen Welker, on NBC, was however, only slightly more nauseating than the confrontational petulance of Kristi Noem, who appeared on CBS with Margaret Brennan.

It only takes a couple of minutes until the spewing of their contrived and inane bullshit starts to irritate my eardrums. Both Republicans seemed to take the same approach…never directly answer a question…pivot to attacking Joe Biden…and, when challenged, cry “unfair”. Sen. Scott whined that NBC was biased, while the South Dakota politician went directly after her interviewer, accusing Brennan of treating her differently than others.

Is there a single Republican who is dedicated to the truth?   Anyone?…

    1. "Is there a more sniveling, cowardly, sycophant than South Carolina senator Tim Scott?"

Yes, there is. That would be the sniveling, cowardly, sycophant South Carolina Senator Lyndsey "Blanche" Graham.

Although the difference between the degrees of ass-kissing is very subtle and easy to overlook.

      1. Yes..it is subtle. I tend toward Scott because he doesn't seem to employ the services of John Barleycorn to the degree our Southern Belle, "Blanche" does. I kinda think it takes more internal weakness to grovel when sober.

But hey…I have been wrong before. 😄

      1. You can laugh but this is very important to Republicans: Race (niggers and brown mud people), 2SLGBTQIA+ (Faggots and Trannys), New Things (Electric cars aka Golf Carts, Meat Alternatives aka Fake Meat). These are the things, or the hate of these things, that make up the life of Conservatives. Next month we hear how this month was their best month ever then gays existed.

    2. "Is there a single Republican….." Look at the Main Street Caucus of the House Republicans.

The list I found isn't totally up to date. As an example, Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) is now a commentator on MSNBC. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) got fed up and retired. And Elise Stefanik (R-NY) went over to the "dark side" and has become a total MAGA.
