      1. "but some of the folks in media who oughta know better would not."

That's because they want the return of Orange Caligula. He was much more interesting and exciting.

    1. Preach it, bs! It's almost as if the media has forgotten he's running against a 77yr old *ussy grabber / rapist who thinks windmills kill people.  I hope someone in this administration was watching Overtime with Bill Maher last week and his back-and -forth with Killer Mike on policy issues. It's well-worth the 15 minutes (as is the first 10 minutes of the show with KM.

  1. Looking forward to coverage of Trump's 5 hour deposition on his classified documents…. oh wait, there isn't such a session because he IS INDICTED and has declined to cooperate [claiming immunity, 5th Amendment, and who knows what else].

    1. We should send some pigs to the Hoedown Terrain Park and find out!

Seriously, I followed yesterday's weather forecasts with some interest. There was a narrow band of legit precipitation that eventually happened, but the northern tip of this one veered up toward Greeley.

  2. Anyhoo, here's FDFQ sounding a little less presidential and a little more Cosa Nostra when it comes to protecting NATO members who don't contribute enough to NATO or hit defense spending targets:

"If we don't pay and we're attacked by Russia, will you protect us?," Trump recalled another country's leader asking while him while he was president. "No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want."

I'm going out on a limb here, but the 2024 election probably matters a tad…

    1. Donald Trump continues to demonstrate he does NOT understand NATO finances.  And that he is willing to explicitly signal the surrender of the United States if there is an attack on the European members of the defense alliance.

      1.    Apparatchik doesn't have the weight of "Russian asset" with the people who might/ might not vote for Orange Ignoramus.

"Compromised Russian asset" will work in a pinch. Keep it simple.

I prefer "Bloviating Fat Lying Grifting Fraud", but thats in a different folder.

        1. There is of course the old, reliable "Useful Idiot".  Trump's brag that, if elected, he would end the Russian war against Ukraine in 24 hours is actually quite believable.  It would simply involve Trump's demand that Ukraine immediately surrender, and in return he gets a billion dollar kickback from Putin, along with a revival of his Trump Hotel in Moscow deal.

          Easy, peasy.
