Just before coming to this site to see the quotation de jour, I wrote elsewhere on the name change to Mount Blue Sky.

I was up in the mountains with a group of friends when that got into the limited media I was paying attention to.  Two of the group live in Evanston, IL — named after the same individual.  No word if there will be an effort by the politically conscious individuals there (who pushed the city and its institutions to be among the very first to begin programs of reparations to Black residents) to address the fact it was “named in honor of John Evans, a central founder of Northwestern University.“

Naming things after people seems like a dangerous practice — we don’t know how their actions will be seen in a century or two.

"The government is a shitty organization that is unable do anything useful and tries to control everything. It hates you and it hates me and I hate it. Help me be a part of it." (Basically every "conservative" campaign)

    OK.

Really, Lauren. Let me see if I can paraphrase the word salad.

Being extremely vulnerable because of the trauma of dumping my husband and kids, I am traumatized.
So traumatized, in fact, I just couldn’t maintain my normally unquestionable behavior.

My decision to break every social more and decency standard by vaping, singing, bopping, jerking off my date, taking photographs, wearing that dress, insulting EVERYBODY, and generally being an obnoxious, entitled, slut….was because I was dating a former Democrat.

“I gotta remember to check party affiliation before I date again.”

That last bit is a quote…almost

Stay the course, Freedom Caucus screwballs. Some day they will thank you.
