The State will bleed you dry.

will be deeply saddened by the loss of the amazing, ever youthful activist and all round beautiful person, Rosalie Schiff, 1925-2013. I read of her passing yesterday in today’s paper, the obituary section.
Accomplishments cited, besides being an adored and devoted wife, mother and grandmother:
Executive Director of Colorado Common Cause 1975 through 1987
Co-inventor of sunset and sunshine provisions.
Served on national board of Common Cause
State Board of Colorado League of Women Voters
Littleton Human Relations Council
Littleton Mother of the Year in 1968
As vibrant seniors, Rosalie and husband Don have remained active and activist HD38 Dems, attending events and supporting and contributing to candidates at every level. They were important supporters of Joe Rice who, before a million and a half was spent to oust him from our historically red HD38 in 2010, was one of the most highly respected members of our state legislature, known for working across the aisle to get things done.
The amazing and lovely Rosalie will be sorely missed and our hearts go out to Don and the rest of her family, friends and loved ones.
I spent a good while out on the street last week with the anti-fracking protesters at the Capitol, chatting and getting to know people.
I imagine, from your description, Rosalie was the kind of engaged and energized person I might have met and chatted with out there.
People who give of themselves so much for their neighbors deserve our undying gratitude.
Condolences and much Love to her family and friends.
She will be greatly missed.
