  1. How timely is today's quote.  Liars of convenience appear to be welcomed in one political party.

Craig Silverman responds in The Colorado Sun:  Silverman: Perjury convictions are rare in Colorado. It’s time to hold liars accountable.

Consider the odious and traitorous Tucker Carlson.

Carlson spews non-stop pro-Putin and racist propaganda to his large, primetime audience. He’s doubled down since being exposed for demanding a Fox female colleague be fired for telling truths about Trump’s 2020 electoral defeat.

I'm not certain if Carlson held to his false descriptions of his behavior while being deposed (and thus under oath).

And Silverman doesn't mention current local liars.  But perhaps fidelity to truth could be ANOTHER wedge issue to pry the Republican party apart.

    1. Another Colorado voice….from Daily Kos today.

A month after Republicans blew their chance at retaking the U.S Senate and gaining decisive control of the House, GOP operatives and activists started to regret not talking more about the issue of abortion on the campaign trail.

“I’m very confident that the voters are with us on this,” said Marilyn Musgrave, vice president of government affairs at Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America.

Says the only Republican who has managed to actually lose in Colorado CD-4 in the last 40+ years.

Musty really has a good read on the pulse of the voters.

      1. That's because those statutes were not – for the most part – written in 1789 by a bunch of white, male slave-owners.
