  1. The Colorado Sun has an opinion column from Hank Brown and Cole Wist

Joe O’Dea invests in his workers and the community

O’Dea’s campaign has been ethical and honest. O’Dea spent months in the Republican Primary telling pro-life audiences and conservative talk show hosts he disagreed with them on abortion, that he would vote to codify Roe vs. Wade, but that he hoped the GOP would back him because he would attack inflation, cut the debt and support the police and military. O’Dea told Donald Trump supporters that the former president was wrong to deny the 2020 election’s outcome. Many times, they booed. He smiled and said he hoped to earn their vote because the country needs to come together. Joe O’Dea has said he hopes Trump doesn’t run (he doesn’t think Biden should either) and he will campaign for another contender — like Sen. Tim Scott — if he does.

I guess Brown and Wist still have hopes for a Colorado and national Republican Party.

No word on HOW O'Dea would be able to codify Roe v. Wade standards.  I think that may be the equivalent of Cory Gardner's support for "OTC birth control."

    1. So, THIS Sen. Tim Scott?

“If we don’t take back the Senate, Dems will pack the courts, give DC statehood, grant abortions up to 52 weeks, and Republicans will never win again,” he wrote to supporters Monday."

Minor fact check to follow, for the men (of which I am one):

“A full-term pregnancy is approximately 40 weeks,” Dr. Meera Shah, chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, told HuffPost. “It is not logical or medically accurate to say that people can be pregnant at 52 weeks ― let alone be seeking an abortion. It is comments like this one that underscore exactly why medical decisions should not be made by politicians.”
