  1. About a year ago I posted here that I was impressed with the MyColorado app.

Well… recently (a couple of weeks ago) I got my second booster. It has yet to show up in my MyColorado vaccination list.

I submitted a help ticket through the app a week ago asking about this. No answer.

So I went to the website and did chat. That got a quick answer that fixed it. So a B on tech support (F on submitted ticket, A+ on chat).

And the answer is you have to go to the app and submit update my record. First off not obvious as the form for that is to update your contact info. Second, they should push this info out.

And at the least, have a large button titled "Update Vaccination Record" to make it clear that is required.

  2. There's a number of articles recently where the Biden administration can't seem to catch a break in the news. Everything is written as "another example of their incompetence." Even on thigs where the news media should know that it's outside his control (inflation) or he's doing well with the bad hand he was dealt (Saudi).

I think a significant part of this may be the Afghanistan withdrawal. While the withdrawal is mostly forgotten now, at the time it painted a picture of wide incompetence. And I think that incompetence impression remained in general applied to new issues as they came up.

There's always a million influencers. But I think this could be an impactful one still being felt.

    1. There are a vareity of ever-popular tropes with Biden:

       * he's too old, and can't make a decision.  If he has a basis for choice, he can't explain it. he can't even ride a bike…. the White House is REALLY being run by Harris or Ron Klain or somebody other than Joe.

       * Biden & his staff aren't up to the job.  They aren't focusing on the "right" things. There's infighting. He's being outfoxed by Joe Manchin. He's got the lowest approval numbers

      And my personal favorite

       * Biden and his staff are too nice.  They think there is a possibility for bipartisanship like the "old days" in the Senate. They are trying to make everybody happy and winding up pleasing no one. They aren't playing hardball with those [pick one] [right/left/corporate/activist/Hill/Party/BLM/Climate/donor] Democrats.

In 18 months, Biden has dealt with events or immediate aftermath of

       * the biggest pandemic in 100 years, * the greatest disruption to US education,  * the complex American economy coming back from economic devastation, * the biggest war since WWII, * the longest American war, * the most violent US insurrection since 1865 & the most complex prosecution effort of the Department of Justice, * the most radical Supreme Court & its rulings,  * climate disasters & the underlying issues of climate change, * highest inflation rate in the past 40 years, on-going high numbers of people crossing the border & getting caught, * a knife's edge margin in BOTH Senate and House,

Not to mention his son's laptop showing up (or not). his dog biting members of the Secret Service, his vice-President visiting a cookware store in France.
