  1. Denver’s affordable housing plan (requiring 8-15% of all new multifamily builds to be income restricted) is a good first step. The current expanding  sky-high rent bubble is going to burst- not enough yuppies are moving  in to the state to sustain it, and numbers of homeless people will continue to increase.

      1. Do tell. Care to cite some facts to back that up?
        I can.

Just more than a year after Biden signed the bill, U.S. unemployment rate is nearly at pre-pandemic levels, the economy has added more than 10 million jobs and gross domestic product is well above where it was when COVID-19 shattered the economy. By those measures alone, the recovery under his watch was far stronger than the slow trudge out of the Great Recession.

But despite the rapid rebound, Biden’s approval rating is at all-time lows as Americans feel the brunt of high inflation — a risk few within and beyond the administration took seriously when he signed the American Rescue Plan (ARP).

        1. Kwtree:

Biden promised you, you kwtree, that he would not raise taxes on those making less than $400 K. You believed him. You knew it was a lie at the beginning but could never voice the truth. The Biden inflation tax effects everyone except Duke Cox since he doesn’t have to pay it. Wage gains lag the inflation rate and Melissa still can’t do the things other people do, after 6 years of complaining.

Women can get as many abortions as they want but can’t find baby formula. Savings can not keep up with increases in housing prices. Utility prices have significantly increased. The supply chain is broken and Alfred E Newman doesn’t have a clue. Democrats worry about Jan 6th but have nothing to say about Democrat assassinations of Supreme Court Justice. Biden is Jimmy Carter on steroids.

Turn off the air conditioner, drive 55, and live in a storage container……it’s for your own good.
