      1. that I am ” active ” in anything.

BTW, Fidel, I voted for you.  I don’t care that nobody else did. PCG had it right – haters gonna hate.

      2. I voted MADCO because I tend to unfairly value humor. One Queer Dude used to be my favorite polster for the same reason. But you’re a “must read” polster too. 🙂

  1. Although half the time, I don’t know if he is serious or joking. I just want to stay on his good side so he doesn’t try to hit me up for $50 later, like he has so many of you.

    1. is there a triguardian thing going on? Two new polster accounts, registered since 1:00 (it’s now 1:20), just to support Nancy?

Hey, I like her, too, but this poll isn’t for anything at all. Sockpuppeting for this is weird.

              1. Not having (or using) those social networking media is actually ideal if you want to be the top commenter on Pols. You just post everything that most normal people would post there in the Open Thread, the more mundane and boring the better, repeat 25,000 times and you’re set!

                  1. Libby2 (& some others) think the open thread should be limited to Colorado political topics. Oh and politics they find interesting elsewhere. Oh and who our quarter back is. Oh and… (basically anything non-political that they find worthy).

                    1. Hawaii politics

How your mom in Hawaii is doing

How your daughters are doing in college

                      Cute sexist things

                      How your car is doing

And everything else that the open thread DavidThi808 thread usually has.

  2. The best analogy to explain where we are is that spring training is ending. The regular season is starting right now. Our politicians are ready and as good as they can be.

The opposition is going to go after the black guy in their white house. They will say and do

    .

    .

    .

    oh wait they already are.

Ya’ll have a lot to do there in Colorado. We here in Maryland have to fight off a referendum to repeal equality in marriage. Plus we have a couple of seats to save from the Republicans. My rep, Steny, is against Keynesian economics. He needs help.

And, congrats to all the blogging point people. They year is about to get crazy.

      1. I hope to get back sometime this summer. I need to dehumidify.

And, I miss being able to see more than a half mile.

        Plus, I do miss ya’ll.

Please excuse the accent. I picked that up when I moved from Colorado to Mississippi and then back to Colorado in the early 70’s.

Proudly voting Democratic in the primary 4-3-12.

  3. I’m kind of in the Woody Allen camp on these popularity questions. I mean, when I look at that list of usernames, I am knocked out by the sheer brainpower assembled there. Great writers all.

I voted for you BC, until I can find something we disagree about.

    1. Do you do it based on snark or facts or reasoning?  There are whole classes of comments that can be defined as brilliantly crude that wouldn’t fit the rational argument model but have great entertainment value.  Picking quality comments out of context would also be prickly.  What the comment portfolio shows is that these folks have way too much free time on their hands.

  4. in spite of the fact that I obviously shoot off my mouth way too much, 7 people actually chose me. On the other hand, I’m totally embarrassed that I have so many more comments than anyone else. Wow, what I blowhard I am!

Well, this time I really mean it. I’m putting myself on a strict quota. So if anyone doesn’t get a response from me, I’m not ignoring you.  I’m just trying to get my problem posting under control! But I’m guessing nobody will mind a lot less out of me.  Jeesh! I’m going to eat better and exercise more, too.

    1. ’cause you make sense and say (well, type) what I’m think the vast majority of the time.

So really, you’re posting for both of us, which cuts your numbers in half, see?

      Keep up the great work.

Also, I am so relieved that I’m not making the lists at all. . . Slinks away to lurk more.
