  1. Charles Herbster, a candidate for Nebraska governor, is drawing attention for his appearance at a Trump rally this weekend where he told the crowd that he was going to end sex education in schools and put it “back in the homes,” after eight women have come forward accusing him of sexually assaulting them.

    1. When I was in school (dark ages) sex ed did not include things like "no means no" and how not to be a harasser. Has that improved?

    2. Having not been in school for awhile, I assume that "sex education" includes how to "sexually harass" someone.
So, why would Herbster be against "sex education in schools"? Does he want prospective sexual harassers to get their education in the gutter?

    1. Greggie Boy has bigger problems. Saw on Yahoo News this AM that Mexican business interests are looking at changing their entry point into the US from the El Paso area to another nearby entry point in New Mexico. If it fully happens, estimated annual cost to the Texas economy could be as high as $4.2 billion.

But, hey, it’s only chump change as long as Greg continues to “own the libs.”

      1. Yeah, that nearby entry point is Santa Teresa, NM … infrastructure is not quite world class.

"The station has three commercial vehicle lanes and four passenger lanes." …. but is rumored to be in line for an upgrade. Now open 6 am to 10 pm, And their web page says there are 5 brokers.

        1. Imagine that …. Biden administration sending DHS infrastructure money to a blue state like New Mexico instead of to a shit hole state like Texas!

Someone is getting the hang of this game….

  2. Supreme Court has voted to overturn abortion rights, draft opinion shows

The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wadedecision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.

The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.

    1. Beat me to it, Michael.  This is extraordinary for many reasons.  But completely unsurprising.  There will be an incredible hue and cry at the Court as it tries to identify the leaker, but I applaud this act of disobedience.  When we have one political party that attempted a coup, this is the equivalent of running a stoplight at 3 am

      1. …and why apply the brakes now when you can put homosexuality and same-sex marriages in your crosshairs? This is a Christo-fascist wet dream.
