Libertad: 3 Days In The Penalty Box

For an unambiguously racist reference to President Barack Obama as a “silver back.” Libertad is a frequent pusher of the bounds of appropriate behavior, although it could be argued he is more effective at persuading others to disagree with him. Although we are tolerant of diverse viewpoints, vigorous debate, and judiciously-employed strong language, we must enforce minimal standards of conduct for the sake of our broader community.

Libertad’s Colorado Pols account will be restored Friday.

The Pols Penalty Box is a less-draconian way than banning users to enforce rules governing this community, where users can write whatever they want during their suspension (all by themselves).
