Ukraine is heartbreaking. If the West continues its support, both direct to Ukraine and sanctions, then Ukraine will win. But at a horrendous cost.

I think Biden has done well both building international support and with our direct support. I wish it was more & faster, but what has been accomplished is pretty amazing.

I wish I could do more. I've been donating lots of places including every independent media inside Ukraine and the Russian ones that were kicked out of Russia. And to some of the humanitarian groups.

We, the West, need to be in this for the long haul. And it's going to be a stalemate on the ground for a couple of months as Russia's economy slowly implodes. We won't see any big changes on any  given day. But continuing to tighten the sanctions will devastate Russia.

And to all the candidates who are inundating me with donation requests – what have you done to help Ukraine?

Peter Boyles, 79-year-old morning host on conservative KNUS (710 AM) is on-air now being interviewed by George Brauchler about the “mini-stroke” he had on air a week ago. Big announcement:  he’s bowing out of the AM rat race.  Now only Brauchler will be left to fight against the Big Lie in the GOP of CO, on the AM airwaves.

Boyles had had his moments over the years.  When I moved here in 2005, I was impressed by his skewering of that CO Springs preacher man who denounced homosexuality but consorted with male prostitutes on the side.  But then there was birtherism, where Boyles went complete apesh*t over Obama’s life story.  Followed by complete and utter misogynistic crap about Hillary.  At least he bows out with service to the truth, i.e. telling the GOP they had to renounce the Big Lie in order to get back a toehold in CO politics.  I hope they give Brauchler a big piece of Peter’s airtime, and not the odious Randy Corcoran.

Heck, may want to simply have a series of "try-outs" until the 2022 primary is over.  Then, KNUS could assess the results — ratings AND elections —  and determine what sort of conservative would be best as a radio personality for Colorado 2022.

I'm already done with confirmation hearing. The thirtieth reference to the committee's mistreatment most foul of Kegs the rapey alcoholic manbaby was, oh, about 30 too many.

Or Josh Hawley, paraphrased: I don’t know if Judge Brown has anything to do with child pornography, but I’m going to talk about the problem of kiddie porn for 5 minutes, and imply that Judge Jackson tolerates it, then say he’s looking forward to Judge Jackson’s responses on these “questions”. I really think it is too-close-to-call as to who is the bigger asshole, Ted Cruz or Josh Hawley.

I'm waiting for the real questions start. Does KBJ like beer? How often would she pass out at high school drinking parties? And does she still have her calendars from 1982 available to corroborate her testimony?

      • Genghis says:

        Or Josh Hawley, paraphrased:

That guy is a piece of shit’s piece of shit. When Neil Gorsuch wrote a dissenting opinion back in 2018 arguing vigorously that the federal sex offender registry is unconstitutional, I wonder if Joshy complained that Gorsuch “tolerates” sex offenders, including child molesters.

lol j/k nothing to wonder about there.

Don’t be silly speculating about the KNUS on-air choice: whose ratings are higher?

  5. Genghis says:

For those who haven't seen it, here's the federal court complaint that the NAACP, League of Women Voters and Mi Familia Vota filed against the sociopathic scum collectively known as USEIP, a Pillow Boy-funded group that specializes in armed voter intimidation.

Something you can do for Ukraine:

Stop patronizing these businesses. And write to them to tell them why not.The 1st doesn’t mean much without the second.
