    1. I'm not certain what "full-term abortion" might be … but Colorado allows women and their doctors to determine what is appropriate.  Boulder's "Dr. Warren Hern specializes in fetal anomaly abortions. Late abortion, first, second & third trimester abortions."  In business since 1973.

  1. Thought for the day. As the right wing crazies try to shut down a broad education in our public schools, what about countering with the following:

The biggest problem virtually every company faces is finding enough qualified people to hire. In not just high tech, but many other industries too, this means people who are smart, open minded, & curious. Too many kids are limited in K-12 and that limits their potential in College and then in their jobs.

Limiting what they are exposed to, and with that giving the message that one should not look beyond their parent's beliefs, sets them up for a very limited professional career.

I think most parents want their kids to achieve great success in life. Make them realize these limits get in the way of that.

    1. What do you want to see more of in K12 public education?

Most schools include a STEM (science, math, engineering and technology) program in their curriculum now. I recently subbed for 6th grade classes that were doing amazing coding of animations and songs.

      1. My point is that schools that restrict what they teach kids are hurting their sense of curiosity and limiting their openness to new ideas.

Schools that do this well, including STEM, are great. And it's not just STEM. There's a lot more to someone being imaginative. STEM is just the tools for implementation.

  2. Hey, a new opportunity for y'all to try becoming an elected official! Under Senate Bill 013, there would be a new at-large position for the State Board of Education. This is I think because they only had 1 person for each district, but there's a new 8th, and adding the at-large would keep it an odd-numbered board.

  3. I just received an email inviting me to “Caucus for Karen.” Karen Breslin is apparently running against Michael “Thurston Howell” Bennet as the progressive alternative.

What gives? Was Zapatero unavailable as a candidate?

    1. On the other hand Empty G won the internet today. The whole point of moran cos-play is to own the libtards and get attention.

      Looks like it worked.

Notice how she is looking more and more like Donald Trump every month?
