  1. (Wholly unqualified) SmellyAnne isn’t having a very good day (ditto for Spicey).  I guess elections have consequences? Did she think her hubby’s work with the Lincoln Project was going to give her cover?

Biden White House moves to oust Trump appointees from advisory boards

Trump, in his final weeks in office, stocked the advisory boards with loyalists such as former counselor Kellyanne Conway, former press secretary Sean Spicer, former campaign manager Corey Lewandowskiand former budget director Russell Vought

Her 2017 Tweet hasn’t aged well:

Lordy I miss these cold opens:

    1. This could not be more timely. TWO of my trump-loving anti-vaxxer relatives died of COVID just this week. And they were different sides of my family and didn't even know each other.

      1. In Wyoming, with Cheney v. what's her name in the primary, money isn't going to be a major factor.

May I humbly suggest you find find someone (or set of someones) primarying a Trumpiest incumbent and devote your money to that insurgent who is trying to take a seat from one of the Insurrectionist caucus?

  2. Popcorn.  Lots of popcorn.

Christie steps out of Trump’s shadow — and stokes 2024 buzz

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is launching a comeback tour as he considers whether to mount a 2024 presidential bid that could put him on a collision course with Donald Trump.

But as the Trump administration wound down, Christie made his criticisms known. He had harsh words for Trump in the aftermath of the Capitol riot, accusing him of “violat[ing] his oath and betray[ing] the American people” and refusing to rule out the idea that Trump’s Cabinet should have invoked the 25th Amendment and removed him from office. The condemnations have rankled some members of the Trump family, according to a person familiar with the dynamic.

    1. So the GOP nomination race in 2024 will feature Mike Pence, Adam Kinzinger, Chris Christie, and Bill Weld fighting over the 30% of the primary voters who will not support Trump?

      1. I'd bet things are going to be weirder than that — candidates coming out of the woodwork hoping lightning will strike in such a way that others get burnt and they get energy.

Florida all by itself may have Trump, DeSantis, Sen. Scott/(Skeletor), & Sen. Rubio,
