Today is National Onion Rings Day
Now THAT is something to celebrate!
Only with catchup!
Is catchup a compromise term between Ketchup and Catsup?
What's the difference between a sauce and a condiment?
ColoradoPols – where we're not afraid to ask the critical questions.
Most sauces are heated at some point. Condiments tend not to be. Technically ketchup and mustard are sauces but are served cold.
Blasphemy, V! Mustard is the only condiment that should touch an onion ring!!
Mustard for raw onions, in concert with a hot dog, okay. Mustard with ONION RINGS? One of those idolatrous Roman rites that inspired Martin Luther to revolt!
As all these restaurants, hotels, etc. are having trouble hiring – welcome to the last 17 years of my life. My biggest problem at Windward was always finding people to hire. We always had openings and for some jobs it took over a year to find someone.
This may be your answer, David. Yours isn't the same category of work, but it may still be relevant:https://edition.cnn.com/2021/06/22/economy/job-shortage-workers/index.html
Yeah, that was my point. This has always been a problem for companies where the employees can at any time walk down the road to another place and get an equally good job.
And they expect to be treated well.
Saw today there will be a small slip in timeline for re-districting. New dates were on a tweet: https://twitter.com/CORedistricting/status/1407071579951943698
