Today is World Hydrography Day
Good to see coverage of the first national holiday Juneteenth. Photos in Westword showed pretty good crowds and LOTS of smiles.
Awful to read CBS4 5 Shot, 1 Dead In Parking Lot Shooting Outside Juneteenth Celebration, Multiple Shooters Suspected. You'd have to read into the story to find out "Investigators said that witnesses told them there was a Juneteenth celebration in an unnamed unit of the shopping mall, though other witnesses told CBS4 the event was not related to the holiday. At one point, organizers began denying access to the event and that led to a group gathering in the parking lot."
I saw a reference to a new poll from Magellan Strategies, so went and looked at toplines and a few other pages.
Responses to the question “Do you regret getting vaccinated for any reason?” are listed on one of those pages. I'm hoping that some of them are intentional trolling by way of invented and extreme wackiness. If not, I'll need to start fearing a great deal more for the level of education in the population around us.
