Today is Be Nice to Gertie Day. We never have enough savvy, witty and perceptive people and she has an amazing ability to get to the heart of the matter!
You rock, Lady.
Well done, sir.
Geez, V. I'm honored. What's the occasion?
Nothing specific, Gertie. I’ll turn 76 Sunday and the older I get, the more I realize the world needs more kindness. So occasionally, I just like to recognize special people who make this world a better place.
You definitely are on that list.
Today is Whooping Crane Day
Song of the Day (a COVID-oriented song)
"Who's Zoomin' Who" (1985) Aretha Franklin
Colorado being mentioned:

More harm among those who pay the least attention to public health advice. And a reminder that a 95-99% effective vaccine regimen given to 50% of the adult population means the reported harm is nearly twice as bad among those who haven't had the disease or the 2-shots.
This is America. No one said there would be math.
Refusal to participate as a volunteer in the vaccination “experiments” will win you automatic enrollment as a guinea pig in the worldwide viral evolution/natural-selection experiments trials . . .
Turning attention to D.C.
"The case against Rivera, an undocumented laborer, drew national attention when then-President Donald Trump and other Republicans said the tragedy was made possible by lax immigration laws."

Actually- it is obvious to anyone that the lax law that needs fixing is the hiring. I am confident that the farm that hired this worker is owned by a republican. A republican owner who is happy to hire cheap labor from wherever. No wall or fence is going to stop that.
