2. I do not understand Covid in India.

   Florida, Texas and even Douglas County have ended the pandemic by just declaring it over. India persists in not making the announcement. 

    

   Given the amount of coastline, India might also take note of Florida ending climate change.

   “Kevin McCarthy promises Republicans he shares their values,” Carlson said. “He tells them he’s on their side. He says he will fight for them against permanent Washington, the forces that would like to destroy their lives … and at the end of the day, Kevin McCarthy goes home to Frank Luntz’s apartment in Penn Quarter and laughs about it.”

   So what kind of apartment is this?

   It’s a 7,000-square-foot space — a combination of four penthouse apartments — with what appear to be homeowner’s association (HOA) fees of nearly $5,000 per month.

   US beef and pork exports set new records in March

   The U.S. exported $801.9 million worth of beef in March. It was the first time that monthly exports topped $800 million and it was also a 14% increase from March of last year. As to volume, the U.S. shipped 124,808 metric tons in the month – “the second largest of the post-BSE era,” USMEF said in reference to a 2003 detection of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy in the U.S.

   U.S. plant-based food retail sales jumped 27% in 2020

   The growth rate for the U.S. plant-based food market more than doubled in 2020, as sales surged 27% to $7 billion, according to the Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA) and The Good Food Institute (GFI).

   Plant-based food sales rose nearly twice as much as overall U.S. retail food sales, which climbed 15% in 2020 as COVID-19 lockdowns nationwide forced temporary closures of restaurants and spurred consumers to stock up on groceries, PBFA and GFI said Tuesday. What’s more, dollar sales growth for plant-based foods proved to be consistent across the country, with the market posting gains of over 25% in all U.S. census regions.
