When closed minds trumps further discussion...

I had planned to write a diary sometime late yesterday regarding my personal knowledge and insights into the unfortunate accusations and down right lies lodged against Scott McInnis.  Off and on during the course of the afternoon when time permitted I accessed CPols and was truly astounded at the continued level of hatred and contempt toward Scott among so many otherwise intelligent people.  

Frankly, the facts I have first hand knowledge of would be no more welcomed here than a lecture on fracking wells at a Tea Party gathering and such an effort on my part would be flicked away as easily as a pesky fly that persists in disturbing self righteous ignorance.  

So this is a diary not meant to increase your knowledge of the facts (those pesky facty things you don’t like) or discuss the results of the OARC.  I could never see the results being otherwise than those handed down last Friday, May 20th and waited rather impatiently at times for the investigation to be completed.  

Someone once said at the end of a campaign you know who your enemies are…and your friends.  The same is even truer when the candidate is personally attacked and falsely accused of something.  Scott and Lori McInnis consider me a friend they can trust.  In the final analysis that’s really one of the important things that came out of this whole sorted mess.
