  1. Colorado seems to have some standards being exercised:

Colorado judge used the n-word and proclaimed that ‘all lives matter.' Now she’s resigning.

Colorado District Judge Natalie T. Chase … "agreed to resign after the Colorado Supreme Court censured her based on a report finding she had “undermined confidence in the impartiality of the judiciary by expressing [her] views about criminal justice, police brutality, race and racial bias, specifically while wearing [her] robe in court staff work areas and from the bench.” ….

the Colorado Supreme Court found Chase’s use of the n-word, though not directed at anyone, “has a significant negative effect on the public’s confidence in integrity of and respect for the judiciary.” The commission also chastised her for failing to “act in a dignified and courteous manner” and for violating a rule that “prohibits a judge from manifesting bias or prejudice based on race or ethnicity by word or action.”

Chase apologized and expressed remorse for her actions, the court said.

    1. What is it about the 18th District? They had Carol Chambers and George Brauchler, two really bad D.A.s and it seems like they have more bad judges come out of there than anywhere else in the state.

      1. For the DAs, it's the fact that Lincoln, Elbert, and Douglas are part of the 18th.  Dem DA candidates carry Arapahoe and then lose the election because of the other counties.  Come 2024, that disappears, when Lincoln, Elbert, and Douglas become the 23rd and Arapahoe can get a better DA.  As for judges, Arapahoe does seem to pick some doozies, and Hick was mediocre on his appointments–witness Chief Justice Boatright

  2. Good morning Polsters.  If Alexei Navalny dies, which now looks very probable, I wonder how much unrest they are going to have in Russia. What I don't wonder is how Putin will handle it.

    1. Putin will handle it the same way Assad handled Syria.

I can think of no position more powerful than that of "martyr". If Navalny dies in prison, civil war is imminent.

  3. If you’ve ever felt the need to explain that you weren’t a Nazi, perhaps you should reflect on your life choices??

One America News Network Stays True to Trump

Staffers at One America News said they felt responsible for spreading misinformation that led to the Capitol riot. But they had bills to pay, they said, and no other job options. “We’re not Nazis,” one producer told me. “Just, like, everyday people.”
