Interesting analysis being dropped today, examining 377 charged in the January 6 insurrection by demographic assessment of the individuals and the counties they come from.  The presentation is "A Conversation on American Radicalism, Political Violence, and National Security" from Friends of the Truman Foundation and the University of Chicago Project on Security & Threats (CPOST).

Two of the findings featured in an op ed in the Washington Post:

    • Those involved are, by and large, older and more professional than right-wing protesters we have surveyed in the past. They typically have no ties to existing right-wing groups. But like earlier protesters, they are 95 percent White and 85 percent male, and many live near and among Biden supporters in blue and purple counties.
    • our analysis of the 250 counties where those charged or arrested live reveals that the counties that had the greatest decline in White population had an 18 percent chance of sending an insurrectionist to D.C., while the counties that saw the least decline in the White population had only a 3 percent chance. This finding holds even when controlling for population size, distance to D.C., unemployment rate and urban/rural location. It also would occur by chance less than once in 1,000 times.

Got my second vaccine jab on Sunday, and it kicked my ass more than a little. The adverse effects are now gone, other than a lessening headache. The important thing, of course, is that I am now a 5G adrenochrome zombie drone supersoldier in Bill Gates' private army.

    Jenna Ellis has resurfaced.

HuffPost has an amusing article capturing some of the best responses to Ms. Ellis tweeting…

Literally no one worships Trump. Maybe you need to be more than “reasonably familiar” with the Gospel. I’d be happy to introduce you to the real Jesus and true Christianity, Joy. DM me. Or start by reading Romans and the Gospels.

Responses include some supporters' images of Trump; headlines quoting supporters; and of course, some Trump quotations.

Check it out! A woman made it to the quote line! Yeah I know, International Women's month is March, but better late than never.

The Governor of Montana has the plague. Do I have to feel sad for him?
They took off most of the restrictions back in February and left their citizens to their own common sense. Obviously they don’t have much. https://apnews.com/article/public-health-health-coronavirus-pandemic-montana-bozeman-3957e845861e7de4c8de1e8e08115b18
