“We judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing, while others judge us by what we have already done.”
–Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I’m sure it’s naturally occurring.
It’s probably even good for you.
Those landowners are getting free oil – they should have to pay for it.
which some say is good for your health, too!
Men of a certain age loved (lusted after)her. Women of a certain age envied her. All enjoyed watching her on and off the screen. Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof I think was my favorite movie although Virginia Wolfe was a close 2nd.
Elizabeth Taylor – RIP
And I remember feeling defiantly justified, in the face of all Catholic admonitions against such lust!
while so many star moms who have led turbulent, drug and alcohol scarred, much married lives wind up being the subject of offsprings’ bitter tell all memoirs, her children, from an assortment of her many marriages, all seem to adore her and were with her at the end. And while her marriages may not have lasted, her loyalty in lifelong friendships, including the friendship that outlived the marriages to Richard Burton, always did. Here’s to a great broad.
Article in TNTSNBN – big surprise, high tech jobs going elsewhere.
Being debated in the Senate as I write this.
against the COW report. That means 4 Rs flipped.
for me to write down. I’ll have to wait for the Journal.
and to all people who believe in equality! We are one step closer.
King, S
Roberts
Spence
White
Mike Kopp was excused.
I believe Spence was a yes in 2006. King, S, huh? Good on him.
Mildly shocked King voted yes, but good on him.
He got mixed up. We’ll see how he votes on third reading.
He might have caught his reflection in the mirror and was admiring his hair.
for your entertainment pleasure. I call it, “Please do not teach this class in school using our vouchers”.
I haven’t seen anything more truly depressing than this yet today.
(Maybe this would seem funnier if it wasn’t happening just a few miles down the road from where I live? Texas! — Texas, now that would be much funnier IMHO.)

in spite of some very sad electoral losses in 2010, living in Colorado is probably never going to be as bad as living in, say, Arizona.
stpatricksguild.com takes this inspiration from our Colorado Springs “news” reporting . . .

. . . coming soon to a Trans Am dashboard in your neighborhood?
Id like to call it the “Unnecessary Religious-themed Ornaments Bill.”

I wonder if Focus on the Family could bid on the RFP? THAT might create a few jobs in Somalia Springs…
pointing out how none of their bills had anything to do with the promised jobs focus and that their budget proposals were all job killers instead of creators than I’ll just give up on even trying to get Dems elected.
pole dancing classes, and return the motto to that which the founding fathers intended.
Where’s all those originalist tea-partiers when you finally need them?
I knew we elected Republicans for a reason!
he’s always insufferable.
Romer for Denver — because misery enjoys company!
Romer sounds terrible in the commercial.
The producers were probably so sick of him they just called it a day no matter how bad it sounded. So far two really bad ads are on the air for Boigon and Romer. The first candidate up with a decent ad will have the early advantage. Not only does Romer sound terrible the ad seems to be for a school board race.

The link is just to dKos, no specific article.
I’m assuming you’re meaning “Randy” Randy (Bed) Hopper, though…
He’s got bigger issues than Kos’s online saturation campaign of his district IMHO. Between him ditching his wife for a lobbyist, moving out of district to live with her, and seemingly getting her hired on by the state with a big fat raise in the middle of a supposed financial crisis, Hopper is going to be seeing a lot of shit heading his way from a lot of different directions.
