I have never wished anyone dead. But I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.
Spirit of 1776 . . .
. . . Mommmmyyyy !!!
Oh, the humanity!
Tell Moose Head to eat shit. That's organic!
After many identities of these stormers have been revealed, I can't help but see what a collection of self absorbed shitheads, bigots, dumbfucks and general losers these people are. I wish we could cede a small island to this bunch so they can create their model society, and then watch them all die from exposure and starvation in their utopia because they can't get their shit together.
1776 ? Not nearly. March of the fucking deplorables. Fuck every one of these people – they are America's dead weight.
@NOV GOP: "I wish we could cede a small island to this bunch……"
See if the French might be willing to do a partial lease for Grande Terre, in the Kerguelens. The "boogaloos" will love it.
What, Devil's Island isn't available?
Gitmo’s on a very nice island. We’ve already got some great infrastructure. Ttump’s always wanted to keep it open, even expand operations there. And, it’s not American soil, so American courts mostly can’t touch him there, certainly not those pesky liberal state courts. Seems only fitting that we let him and all his friends enjoy some of that world famous American-judicial-system-free Caribbean hospitality that they’ve worked so hard to earn . . .
Whadaya say? — let’s Make Gitmo Great Again!!!
I thought in Arizona they get balogna sandwhiches. And pink underwear.
^^^FTW^^^
Skinny, you’ll enjoy this…
Parler’s amateur coding could come back to haunt Capitol Hill rioters
Parler's standup suffered from decisions made for expediency over security…. hit milestones, get paid, clean up later.
How long has windoze been around? It gets patched every week.
They’ve out-stated the Deep State.
This is awesome. For once I'm glad someone hired crappy programmers.
Thanks, Michael. This is great, Karen really enjoyed the story about the angel hacker who scraped the site before it went *poof *.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick rejected Trump’s Presidential Medal of Freedom award.
Yay, Belichick! Strange bedfellows indeed.
Today is Curried Chicken Day
McCarthy leading….from behind. Five. People. Are. Dead.
In a tacit break with Trump, House Republicans will not formally lobby against his impeachment.
On the other hand, it’s meaningless this round. Trump will be out of office long before the Senate takes up a second impeachment. It would make far more sense to censure him and then move on with the people’s business.
The country needs closure. There is no requirement that the conviction on impeachment charges happen during active tenure. What seems to be most important is to get to the point where a majority vote can bar dump from holding any future office and losing the benefits of governmental support such as staffing, pension and protection, etc after removal from office.
Grandpa Kkkrazypants is doubling down at
theAlamo. Does he think a second helping of impeachment means he gets to be Vice-President on January 20??Sorry, Kicky, that's not closure. You must have two-thirds for conviction — which you won't get — before you can try to ban him from future office.
Censure him and then prosecute his ass in 8 days, when he loses his federal immunity. And prosecute him in New York too.
Bigly prison time for Stinky Boy — that's closure.
You might be surprised, V. There are already a few Senators who are leaning toward conviction. I imagine that number may grow during the speechifying before the impeachment vote. Already, it seems few will defend him or object. He's hemorrhaging support in Congress.
Yes, Skinny, Dump is indeed hemorrhaging support. Just look at the developments of today…
McCarthy announces he won't lobby against impeachment
Liz Cheney announces she is in full support of impeachment
Mitch announces he is "pleased" with the impeachment progress, says he'll never speak with Trumpy again, but remains cagey on his vote.
Rep. Katko is the first R in Congress to sign on he'll vote to impeach.
Don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows…
I've been wrong before and lived to tell about it, your skinniness. Gotta admit Liz Cheney surprised me. Trump's continued stupidity also amazes me. He went down to Alamo, Texas today. Doesn't he know who lost at the Alamo?
Tee hee.
It's worse than that. Alamo, Texas is in the McAllen, Texas area. It is NOT where The Alamo is located. I think someone played (another) trick on him.
Next stop:
. . . Mount Rushmore Auto Body & Paint
The upside is it’s going to force them to go on record; to each his own. That will be useful information in the mid-terms and 20204. They can impeach today – force the recorded votes – and move on with the people’s business.
I have a hunch the business interests/donors who are pulling the strings right now have something to do with this. They want to have some kind of road map as to where their money is going to flow over the next four years.
I respectfully disagree this effort is meaningless (watch the second video first).
Here’s another video that brings last Wednesday into sharp relief:

If *I* can't have a cookie *no one* gets a cookie.
I would like to throw out there that voting to impeach now and then putting a vote to convict by the Senate on the shelf for a later time is not a good idea. There will never be as much support to convict by the American public as there is right now, while this tragedy, and Trump shitting on the Constitution and our form of government, is fresh in everyone's minds.
You wait a month or two and Republicans will treat it as old news, sour grapes, whatever, and they will have success with that given the short attention spans in our country. Strike now while the iron is hot.
Agree. Now is the time to hold these criminals to account. A month from now, Republicans will be fully engaged in criticizing Biden/Harris and trying to block their agenda.
Have you seen this man? (hint, he’ll be the one wearing his TeamUSA Olympic jacket in the Capitol Rotunda). An interweb search indicates he’s a Team Member of the Colorado Springs real estate group Hoff & Leigh. Today he appears to have earned the empty space between John and Mitch (listed alphabetically by first name) in the team listing.
I know just about every pithy quote ever uttered has been attributed wrongly to Mark Twain, but this one in bona fide: "Truth is the most valuable thing we have. Let us economize it."
Kimberly was right … THE BEST WAS YET TO COME.
