How to Build a Better Denver

  •
  • by: Ben Gelt

Through leadership.

I know some of you are in politically sensitive positions and this may be a difficult ask. I know others of you either don’t live in Denver or don’t live in the districts in question. I also know that all of you are committed in one form or another to making our world a better place.

I am writing because I am supporting and working with three candidates running for open seats on Denver City Council whom I believe exude that most important quality: leadership. These three extraordinary leaders have what it takes to lead our great city through these uncertain times. Each of them brings a distinct style and personality to the table. All of them bring important perspective and a passion for public service. All of them are running because they want to serve our City.

Those of you that know me well know that I have high expectations of our elected officials. I am confident that these three individuals can meet my and your standards.

I urge you to learn more about each candidate, you can find out about them through links to their websites below. I hope you will consider supporting each of these candidates with a donation large or small. If you can’t donate, I hope you’ll find time to volunteer.

Josh Davies, Denver City Council at-Large

Chris Herndon, Denver City Council District 11

Mary Beth Susman, Denver City Council District 5

I have posted this letter on my blog, www.BenGelt.com and I encourage you to forward either the email or the link to anyone who is interested in making Denver an even greater city than it already is.
