Oklahoma US Senator Jim Inhofe, the barely literate GOP anti-climate science warrior and Ken Buck hero, refuses to grace his hometown Tulsa residents this year by doing his usual horse ride and wave through the Christmas Parade because the town changed the name of the parade to the Holiday Parade, which is somehow a slander on Jesus, a peace and love hippie who definitely didn’t go for religious zealotry.
“I did not do so last year because I’m not going to ride in a Christmas parade that doesn’t recognize Christmas,” he said. “I am hopeful that the good people of Tulsa and the city’s leadership will demand a correction to this shameful attempt to take Christ, the true reason for our celebration, out of the parade’s title. Until the parade is again named the Christmas Parade of Lights, I will not participate.”
Why did Buck lose a race he should have won? Lots of reasons! One of them is that his buddy Inhofe gives the Colorado Ls a run for their money in the knuckle-dragging department, the Ls being the unholy trio Lambert-Lundberg-Lamborn, of course.
