  1. Okay, so you jumped the gun on the Friday Jams Fest.

How about if you jump the gun on the Weekend Open Thread and get some decent videos posted before DT posts one of his Stupid Russian Bimbo videos?

    1. Such integrity to his muse and his art. This is one of the best Rock songs evah:

His Dad was a Canadian journalist, and published a neat book called “Neil and Me”.

        1. Re: the above.  The rumor was that Dylan was backstage, but it was already so long over the time allotment, that they didn’t let him do a set, so Neil did the cover. Also from the Graham Tribute.

A few other folks played with the Dead, and Journey (who I don’t care for) had a ‘reunion’ show (opened with the city by the Bay song).  All that along with Tracy Chapman and a bunch of others, playing to about 400,000 people in a free show at the GG Polo Field.  Good times.

            1. the guy sitting on the lawn, up the hill on the north side.

If you faced the stage, I was to the right, not far from the stage.  Sort of near where that naked hippie chick was dancing to the Dead.

              I definitely saw you.

In fact, I’m pretty sure I “loaned” you $10.  Glad we finally caught up.

  2. And winter isn’t even here yet.

But this is for Tulo and CarGo and their Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards.

Besides, it’s only three months until pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training.

Oh, and Sam Cooke was born in 1931.
