Pols alters front-page design

  • by: donscottknox

Hot off the press at State Bill …

The ColoradoPols.com website has shrunk its nameplate apparently to accommodate more advertising during a busy political year.

The changes, which took effect overnight, have the ColoradoPols banner occupying a small quarter of the left-side of the page, down from a more prominent position at the very top of the page.

The adjustment allows for the site to display three simultaneous

advertisers at the top of the page, up from one previously. Current advertisers are Bernie Buescher, AARP and the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

Before and after shots here: http://www.statebillnews.com/2…

What’s good financially for Pols is good for the greater Pols community, right?

      1. Don Knox has more integrity in this one post than you have in your entire body of work.

And yes, I realize that the smiley face means you’re joking.

And yes, I realize this isn’t very newsworthy. That’s how self-aggrandizing your posts are.

  1. They’ve actually been doing that for years. My guess is that they don’t always attract multiple advertisers who want the top banner, but they have this time. Probably, as you speculate, because it’s close to the election.
