I can't believe Ken hasn't run a bill to rename it Obamavirus? What a missed opportunity to rally the troops once again against the black guy (and get him two scoops of ice cream on his next visit to the Whitest House).
Dems will be able to message the danger of GOP/Trump incompetence regarding COVID-19. Cutting the pandemic specialist position at the NSC, proposing massive cuts to the CDC, the CDC sending out inaccurate test kits, the NIH refusing local hospitals to conduct their own tests, etc. This makes Katrina look like a well-oiled response, and it affects all of the US, not just one locality. Can't wait till November!

Zornio does lecture at Stanford on rare and undiagnosed diseases. She is a “translational scientist”, which basically means someone who can apply lab research to current public health problems. In addition, she has degrees in neuropsychology and neuropharmacology.
So yes, Zornio might actually have an informed opinion on the coronavirus. If she doesn’t make the 15% threshold at the state Assembly, Polis ought to appoint her to whatever body will be coordinating Colorado’s response to the virus.
Ike McCorkle , Buck’s opponent in CD4, is an honorably discharged wounded Marine officer. He has good ideas, but no scientific expertise that I know of.

Why should the US pay for corona virus?
There is a free market solution –
– if you don't want a vaccine, don't get one
– if you want a vaccine- pay for it
– if you don't want to get sick, don't get the virus
– if you get sick, don't seek treatment
Latest is the Covid 19 likely escaped from a lab. You want compensation – lawyer up. Will it take more than a few weeks for the class to get certified and the lawsuits to start?
C'mon people – I had family die from mesothelioma – they got all that free fireproofing for their lungs and the nerve to expect to be compensated?
I had family die from the black lung pulling coal up from under cornfields in Illinois and they paid by the ton. When they stopped moving coal – why should they get paid?
I'm sure some of you Coloradoans have family who worked at Rocky Flat and whined about getting sick. Likewise, the flaming tap water in O&G country. Free gas that they didn't pay for.

Probably, they won’t play my question.
Someone else asked it. His cheesy answer: he would have voted for it if it had been only 2.3 billion, but “Pelosi put extra stuff in it.” “ I’m deeply concerned about the health of my constituents, but equally concerned about the Federal deficit.”

COVID19 got a little more real for me today: the farm manager for a man whom I know well and we share board seats on a non-profit contracted COVID and died. He was 56, in good health and they still aren’t sure how he contracted the virus (located in western Virginia).
