Funny, and probably more accurate. 🙂

      1. Read some of Pols’ diaries, or dare I say my own, to get an idea on what to do.  I thought Ben’s article was interesting enough, and a direct rif from Pols, that I would have FP’d a decent diary on it.

  1. We now have some polling guys.

Not even Bennet’s mother thinks he is ahead.

Markey: Obamacare in Greeley? Enough said.

    Pelosimutter: behind in the Polls.

    Salazar: behind in the polls.

State Offices: Polling has Republicans ahead except Gov.

Gov. I give Hick the lead but 22-1 for Maes? Behind Tank?

If you only lose the Senate and 1 house seat in November, you will have dodged a bullet.

    Statewide races will trend Red.

The river in Egypt is not the only place where people are in da Nile.

  2. The Big Line is a colossally stupid piece of wishful thinking that shows the Pols men-behind-the-curtain to be either (a) party hacks or (b) hopelessly naive dreamers rather than realists. It’s just indefensible to say, at this point in time:

    – That Bennet is favored over Buck? I certainly see a victory scenario for Bennet, but to say that scenario is better than 50/50 is ridiculous; Bennet is an incumbent polling in the low 40s.

    – That Markey is an extremely heavy favorite; it’s a tough district for a Dem, and this time she doesn’t have the benefit of (a) a widely despised opponent and (b) a strong Dem year (2008).

    – That in this year when conservatives have a massive advantage in voter engagement and enthusiasm, every single Dem running in the entire state is favored to win, with the exception of Coffman’s and Lamborn’s sacrificial lamb opponents.

Can someone at Pols actually put their money where their mouth is, and lay down some bets with me based on their odds? I doubt it.

    1. just the other day Wadhams told me to help find some republican voters by posting on ColoradoPols. Then he faxed me (republicans don’t have computers, you know) a list of talking points and one of them was to promote Ben DeGrow’s website and diary.  I did not see your name on the fax, must have missed it.  Oh, it was just taken off.  I heard someone say we do not want to keep hearing (from) democratic bull shit.
