What you can do to fight back this week (August 19)

It’s the middle of the August recess. Do you know where your Senator is?

Here’s the sad fact: Sen. Cory Gardner doesn’t want to face the voters of Colorado. That’s why instead of hosting public town halls this August to explain what he and President Trump are up to in Washington, Gardner has taken to impromptu appearances with little or no advance warning–looking for photo ops instead of the truth about what voters think.

This week, join ProgressNow Colorado, Indivisible, Conservation Colorado, Planned Parenthood Votes Colorado, and other great progressive groups as we travel across Colorado for the Cardboard Cory 2019 Bus Tour! Everyone’s favorite mascot for Sen. Gardner’s refusal to engage with his constituents, Cardboard Cory, is going on tour across Colorado. He’ll be hearing from voters on what kind of leader Colorado wants, and highlighting how Senator Cory Gardner has failed Colorado and does not deserve a second term.

The tour kicked off today in Denver and will be in or near your town soon:

Broomfield – 8/19
Longmont – 8/20
Greeley – 8/20
Fort Collins – 8/20
Lakewood – 8/21
Grand Junction – 8/22
Montrose – 8/22
Durango – 8/23
Pueblo – 8/24
Colorado Springs – 8/25

Get more information here! Unlike the real Sen. Gardner, Cardboard Cory looks forward to seeing you.

And here are some more great ways to make a difference for the week of August 19:

2019 One Colorado For All Statewide Tour – Westcliffe

We’ve accomplished so much together, especially over the last year. What’s next?” “We’re going to pass the conversion therapy ban this year, so what’s next?” “We have third gender options on birth certificates and driver’s licenses. What do we work on next?”

We are excited to announce our 2019 One Colorado For All Statewide Tour with seventeen stops all across the state, taking us from Grand Junction to Fort Collins, from Steamboat to Alamosa, from Pueblo to Aspen.

Why?! Because we have to learn and act in order to create the world we want.
